Santa Barbara I Madonnari Festival--May 2007
For our seventh year in Santa Barbara, we chose to create an original artwork taken from photos of our garden and the small iron hedgehog who lives in it. Cheryl combined several photos of a Pacific Coast iris plant with a photo of Buttercotch to create the photo collage we drew from. We brought the hedgehog, Buttercotch, along for the trip, and she (he? it?) was a big hit. Buttercotch is a Yardbird sculpture by Bandana Co.
Wayne's brother David came down and helped us, even though we asked him to leaf. He was heartily sick of leaves by the end of the weekend!
